Apple Tart
This is great for the camp and easy if you use ready-made ingredients. I used a 12 inch cast iron skillet.

2 pie crusts
2 cans apple pie filling
beaten egg (or egg white)
crunchy sugar
sliced almonds

Heat the oven to 375.
Lay one pie crust in the bottom of the skillet, gently pressing it into position. Add the apple pie filling, making a slight mound in the middle. Cut the center from the second crust and lay the outer circle of pie dough over the tart. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 for 35 to 40 minutes (or convect bake at 350 for 35 minutes).
