Crawfish & Mushroom Sauce
This is Paul Salvant (The Bug Man)'s recipe. You can use it to top steaks or pasta!
2 tbs butter
16 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 c sliced green onions
Magic Swamp Dust seasoning
1 bag (12-16 oz) peeled crawfish tails
1/2 c to 1 c cream or half n half
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and green onions, seasoning with Magic Swamp Dust, and cooking until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in crawfish tails and cream. (Use 1/2 cup for steak topping, 1 cup for pasta topping.) Add a little more seasoning, reduce heat to medium low, and cook an additional 5-10 minutes, until bubbly and incorporated.
