Fried Gator Pickle Okra
This is Jimmy Babin's recipe for frying his Gator Pickles Okra, Pickles, shrimp, veggies, whatever. For his products: www.CreativeCajunCooking.com

Egg/Milk wash:
1 egg
1 1/2 cups half-n-half
1 tbs lemon juice
1-2 tbs Gator Pickle juice (from the jar of pickles or okra)

Dry batter: Gator Wing Batter

Whisk the wet ingredients together until egg is well blended. Add several okra (pickles, shrimp, etc) to the wet mixture and let sit for 2 or 3 minutes, while you let your grease heat up. Take out one at a time and dredge (with your dry hand) in Gator Wing Batter. Add each one to a frying basket. Fry at 350 degrees for about 2 1/2 minutes, until golden and floating.
Drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
