Lemon Herb Bread
1 French bread baguette
Zest of 1 small lemon
1 stick butter
1 spring rosemary
options: garlic powder, grated parmesan, black pepper
Melt butter, add rosemary leaves and lemon zest. Stir well with your pastry brush. Slice bread diagonally (but don't cut all the way through). Brush bread well with butter, getting mixture between slices. Option: sprinkle with garlic powder, cheese and/or pepper.
Wrap in tin foil and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes (depending on size of loaf). Open the foil and let brown for a few seconds under a low broiler.
If you're using a grill, put bread on top rack and watch your temperature carefully.
