Milton's camp brisket
This is Milton Valentine's recipe.

1 large trimmed beef brisket
seasonings to taste: salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
(or try LeMoine's Season-Um-Up to taste)
1 small bottle Kitchen Bouquet
flour for dusting
several onions, chopped

NOTE: I've heard adding a big squirt of ketchup on top of the meat and under the onions makes this really yummy!

Preheat oven to 250. Cut brisket into pieces that will fit a dutch oven (preferably cast iron). Season each piece of meat. Lightly coat each piece all over with a little Kitchen Bouquet and flour, shaking the pieces to remove excess flour. Put all the meat into the dutch oven. Add as much of the onion as you can with the lid still able to fit tightly.

Cook overnight (10 - 12 hours). Check brisket for doneness. You can hurry up the process at the end by raising heat to 350 if necessary.
