Momma Rita's Pecan Pie
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tablespoons Butter, melted
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Karo Syrup (Light)
1 1/4 Cups Pecan Half
1 Each Unbaked 9" Pie (or shortbread) Crust
Mix eggs together (slightly beaten)
Add sugar to eggs and mix.
Add syrup and mix.
Add in melted butter and mix.
Add in vanilla and mix.
Then blend in pecans stirring gently.
Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
Check and see if it moves when you shake it lightly and if it don't it's ready. If not bake a little more.
